Affordable, reliable access to care

As a cancer survivor, Matt knows firsthand the difference affordable and worry-free health insurance makes when you or a loved one are sick. That's why he passed two laws during the pandemic -- one caps a month's worth of insulin at $25, the lowest rate in the country, and prevents Connecticut residents from needing to ration insulin to make ends meet. The other law protected and expanded telehealth coverage for millions of Connecticut residents and passed the Senate unanimously. As many more folks rely on telehealth visits for healthcare during the pandemic, making them accessible and affordable was more important than ever.
